Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Roanoke, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on-site. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points within the manufacturing and industrial environment to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff and visitors to maintain a secure environment aligned with operational procedures.
• Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner following Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
