Job Description Sales Development Manager 2001 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987 HEADQ Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Sales Development Manager, you will lead the development, optimization and administration of Fastenal's digital content center, with a strong emphasis on SharePoint and knowledge management best practices. This role provides strategic guidance to leadership of various departments, ensuring that all digital assets, documents and knowledge resources are well-structured, accessible and consistently maintained. The manager will collaborate with stakeholders to drive projects from conception through execution, support ad hoc seller needs and facilitate the creation and communication of knowledge assets and sales enablement resources. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Leading and managing a team of knowledge center administrators o Establishing and managing SOP's for SharePoint content center libraries, metadata structures and digital asset organization o Managing SOP's for permissions, security settings and ensuring appropriate access and visibility for all knowledge resources o Developing and executing content and knowledge management strategies with stakeholders and team members o Overseeing documentation for content management audit processes and governance o Serving as a project lead for content migration and digital transformation initiatives o Creating an environment of collaboration continuous improvement REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed o Possess at least 2 years of Fastenal experience OR have at least 2 years of combined experience in industry sales, administration, education, marketing, or customer service o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others o Possess a creative mindset committed to customer service and providing solutions o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Lead and motivate a team of employees o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Previous experience with SharePoint or knowledge management o Understanding of content lifecycle management and digital organization principles o Previous experience with metadata, taxonomy and/or information architecture o Strong organizational and project management skills o Previous experience and understanding with AI tools, copilots and agents ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers. FULL-TIME BENEFITS: Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution. COMPENSATION: The base pay range for this position is $67,200 - 75,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission. | |
