Candidate will support the Performance Coatings Group (PCG) Market Research & Insights team across a range of activities. Additional Information This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.
- Assisting in executing Voice of Customer (VOC) research activities
- Analyzing and presenting survey data from customers, including calculating summary statistics on respondent feedback, summarizing customer sentiment from written feedback, and visualizing data to support key findings
- Self-managing secondary research efforts, including analyzing competitor news and industry trends
- Participating in various project and team meetings, taking and reporting out organized notes and next steps
- Developing and maintaining project documentation as required
- Provide ongoing status updates to PCG Market Research & Insights team members and the team's divisional stakeholders as needed throughout projects
- Availability to work full time (37.5 hours per week) during Summer for at least 10 weeks, and physically present in downtown office 5 days per week
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or Communication equivalent
- Must be able to work full time (37.5 hours per week) during Summer for at least 10 weeks, and physically present in downtown office 5 days per week
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, teams and/or Outlook)
- Must have understanding of primary market research methodologies including quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Must have familiarity with generative AI concepts and tools
Preferred Qualification:
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Have an expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027
- Have demonstrated leadership involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community
- Have completion of a business project management course or similar
- Have experience with survey platforms and data visualization tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Displayr)
