Candidate will support the Performance Coatings Group (PCG) Market Research & Insights team across a range of activities.

Additional Information

This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.


  • Assisting in executing Voice of Customer (VOC) research activities
  • Analyzing and presenting survey data from customers, including calculating summary statistics on respondent feedback, summarizing customer sentiment from written feedback, and visualizing data to support key findings
  • Self-managing secondary research efforts, including analyzing competitor news and industry trends
  • Participating in various project and team meetings, taking and reporting out organized notes and next steps
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation as required
  • Provide ongoing status updates to PCG Market Research & Insights team members and the team's divisional stakeholders as needed throughout projects
  • Availability to work full time (37.5 hours per week) during Summer for at least 10 weeks, and physically present in downtown office 5 days per week

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or Communication equivalent
  • Must be able to work full time (37.5 hours per week) during Summer for at least 10 weeks, and physically present in downtown office 5 days per week
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, teams and/or Outlook)
  • Must have understanding of primary market research methodologies including quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Must have familiarity with generative AI concepts and tools

Preferred Qualification:

  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Have an expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027
  • Have demonstrated leadership involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community
  • Have completion of a business project management course or similar
  • Have experience with survey platforms and data visualization tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Displayr)
