Perioperative Support OR Aide

Inova Woodburn Surgery Center is looking for a Perioperative Support OR Aide to join the team! This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Monday-Friday, Every Other Weekend, 6:30am - 3:00pm

Perioperative Support Specialist Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains overall environment (e.g. empties trash, cleans spills, removes soiled linens) on a continuous basis.
• Demonstrates an understanding of infection control standards and the knowledge of general cleaning principles according to hospital policy.
• Performs daily re-stocking of designated supply areas including linen, fluid warmers. etc.
• Delivers specimens, blood products, etc.
• Obtains additional supplies and equipment for the nursing staff as needed.
• Safely transfers patients to and from in the Operating Room.
• Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Years of Experience: No experience required
• Certification: Basic Life Support via AHA within 3 months
