GENERAL FUNCTION

As Distribution Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the distribution of the product by pulling orders from inventory to conduct regular business operations. You will also drive the timely fulfillment of orders placed by the customer(s), while working collaboratively with all other team members to continuously improve warehouse processes that will positively impact customer service and grow profitably.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on the shipping orders.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, and securing products; including sealing boxes, shrink wrapping large orders, preparation of shipment labels for customer addresses and affixes, weighing and packing freight orders, skid orders, transfers, distribution orders, and export orders.
• Prepare processed packages for either small parcels, freight shipments, or customer pick-up.
• Verify all orders for accuracy; record serial numbers and lot number items being shipped.
• Document product shipment by recording units shipped; notify the supervisor of incomplete orders.
• Clean and organize warehouse at the end of each shift; secure warehouse end of the day.
• Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Performance of other duties as assigned by the manager.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years of Warehouse, distribution, or related experience.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of warehouse and shipping best practices.
• Knowledge and experience with picking and pulling orders; packing completed orders; ups shipping; and processing freight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Math aptitude - calculating and counting.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Systems literate - RF Scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 65-80 pounds
• This position requires one to stand approximately 100% of the day.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift Experience is preferred
