DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position entails performing semi-skilled tasks independently, providing assistance to a skilled tradesperson, or taking on a leadership role for a small team of manual laborers engaged in routine activities. The work requires the operation of various tools and equipment related to construction, grounds maintenance, and general upkeep, often necessitating the application of skills that are developed through hands-on experience. Responsibilities include executing minor repairs and carrying out regular grounds maintenance and custodial tasks with a significant degree of autonomy, although these activities are subject to review upon completion. For more complex construction or repair assignments, the individual will work under the guidance of a skilled trades worker or a supervisor, ensuring that all tasks meet the required standards of quality and safety.

- This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027.
- Work schedule will vary. Work will be scheduled 5 days/37.5 hours per week and will include a 30-minute lunch.
- Weekends and holidays may be required.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
