Job Description




As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrols in Concord, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will remain visible throughout your shift and play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for all. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all individuals present.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
  • Document and report security-related incidents or unusual activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including supporting evacuations or providing guidance to staff and visitors during incidents.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
