As a Security Officer in Ennis, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor access points and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility, verifying identification and authorizations as required.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence at access points.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific guidelines and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to help to maintain a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
