DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Park Maintenance Worker, your primary role will be to deliver essential construction and maintenance services that ensure Black Moshannon State Park remains clean and safe for its visitors. Your responsibilities will include performing semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks across various trades, particularly in building, mechanical, and electrical work. This will involve cleaning and sanitizing rental cabins, restrooms, pavilions, and other park facilities, which includes scrubbing showers, wiping surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, and managing waste. Additionally, you will handle minor repair tasks with minimal supervision and assist journeyman tradesmen or maintenance supervisors with more complex maintenance projects. Your duties will also encompass preventative maintenance of facilities and equipment, routine building upkeep such as painting and roof repairs, and basic electrical maintenance, including replacing bulbs and adjusting motors. Furthermore, you will engage in masonry work, mixing cement and mortar, and constructing forms as needed. Interested in learning more? - This is a seasonal, 37.5 hours/week, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately in March 2027.
- Work schedule will vary to include weekends and holidays as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
