This Position reports to: IS ManagerThis person acts as the Architect for Operational Intelligence across two distinct landscapes: our $200M S/4HANA Public Cloud unit and our $6B Legacy ECC core. While these environments run separately, you will implement a consistent 'Agentic Readiness' strategy for both. You will architect the Semantic Data Layers (using SAP Datasphere & SAC) that expose live operational data to the Enterprise AI team, ensuring that AI Agents can interact with our Legacy ECC supply chain just as effectively as our modern S/4 cloud stack. This role will be responsible for defining and executing a roadmap to expose these critical operational datasets to modern AI and analytics platforms, enabling advanced insights, automation, and datadriven decision making across the enterprise. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the ABB Installation Products Division of the Electrification Business Area. In this role, you will act as the Architect of the Semantic Layer for ABB's ERP landscape. You will lead the data strategy for our S/4HANA Public Cloud program, creating a governed, AI-ready data fabric that bridges our Tacti-cal ERP Operations (S/4, ECC) and our Strategic Enterprise Analytics (Snowflake). Beyond standard reporting, you will design the 'Decoupling Layer' (using SAP Datasphere) that extracts business logic from raw ERP tables. This ensures that downstream consumers-whether they are human analysts in Snowflake or AI Agents in our automation layer-consume consistent, governed, 'apples-to-apples' data, regardless of whether the source is our modern S/4 unit or our legacy ECC core.
