As a chemical engineer, you have the chance to solve complex challenges and shape industrial systems or facilities by assessing the design of chemical production, refining, or research and development. As part of the Ordnance Assurance and Safety team, you will review laboratory processes for the elimination of hazards associated with industrial chemicals. You'll provide insight on mixing operations, small-scale safety testing, thermal analyses, physical characterizations, and output characterizations. You will aid in energetic material characterization efforts designed to understand small-scale explosive hazards. You'll facilitate meetings and assist working groups. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
