To thrive as a Regional Account Manager (RAM), you will serve as a strategic partner to professional customers across your assigned region, helping grow both new and existing Behr and Kilz business within professional account channels. This role is responsible for building and delivering territory strategies that strengthen customer relationships, expand market share, and drive balanced revenue and profitability.

In the role of Regional Account Manager, you will oversee your regional pipeline from start to finish. This includes finding opportunities, crafting account plans, and delivering sales strategies aligned to Behr's Strategic Deployment Plan (SDP). You will work closely with internal partners to develop impactful solutions, secure specifications, and position Behr/Kilz as a preferred or sole supplier within customer organizations.

Success in this role requires strong consultative selling skills, disciplined territory management, and proficiency in navigating complex customer environments. You will stay closely connected to market dynamics, proactively identifying trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities that inform your approach and drive growth.

In addition to sales execution, you will represent the brand through professional presentations, educational seminars, trade shows, and customer-facing events. You will manage your day-to-day activity with a high level of organization and accountability, maintaining accurate CRM documentation, adhering to administrative requirements, and operating safely in accordance with company policies. What we're looking for:

  • Shown experience in consultative or B2B sales, ideally within Property Management, Hospitality, Healthcare, HOA, construction, or commercial coatings channels.

  • Proven track record to develop and implement regional or territory sales plans, handle a robust pipeline, and consistently achieve sales objectives.

  • Strong customer-facing skills, including specification writing, securing approved or exclusive vendor status, and delivering professional presentations such as lunch-and-learns or seminars.

  • Ability to handle a structured daily call plan, generate qualified opportunities, and maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) documentation.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.

  • Strong organizational and administrative field knowledge, including expense management, vehicle and corporate credit card compliance, and accurate reporting.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, iOS-based applications, and CRM platforms; experience working with data to track performance and advise decisions.

  • A completed high school education is required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to follow Behr's motor vehicle policies. Overnight travel may be required. Candidates must be authorized to work without sponsorship.
