As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a utilities setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of protection for everyone at the location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards within the utilities location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support access control measures and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
