Security Officer - Access Control Driver

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Archbold, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a welcoming presence for all visitors and employees. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Perform access control duties by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter breaches of security-related protocols within the food and beverage environment.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter to help to deter prohibited activities and to observe for unusual conditions.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activities according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
