What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site.
• Document observations and incidents according to established protocols and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and site leadership as needed.
• Support a welcoming and professional atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors while maintaining awareness of surroundings at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for work in hospital environments.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
