As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Specialist in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as required during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Remain alert to surroundings and communicate any potential security-related concerns to supervisors and/or the appropriate authorities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
