As a Security Professional - Media Campus Patrol in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech environment. Your visible presence and excellent communication skills will support a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation within this fast-paced location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal training and guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Remain alert to any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns, reporting them promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
