Senior Product Manager - AI-Native Innovation

Job Location: Westminster, CO (North Denver, CO)

Our Department: AECO, CMS, Project Delivery

Are you ready to be a hands-on builder and strategist, rapidly turning emerging AI capabilities into high-impact products?

What You Will Do

This role is for an entrepreneurial leader who thrives at the intersection of emerging AI technology and user needs, leading fast-moving innovation cycles. You will be empowered to explore bold ideas, build rapid prototypes, and bring the most promising concepts to life. You are expected to be a player-coach, a builder, and a strategist, prioritizing learning and shipping.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end lifecycle for new AI-native products, from brainstorming to launching Minimum Lovable Products (MLPs).

  • Actively build and test proofs-of-concept using the latest AI models and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) to quickly demonstrate value and feasibility.

  • Stay relentlessly ahead of the curve on advancements in AI/ML (LLMs, Generative AI) and translate these into concrete product opportunities.

  • Partner closely with a dedicated cross-functional team (engineers, designers) to move from idea to shipped product in weeks.

  • Act as a key AI evangelist, developing best-practice documentation (e.g., prompt engineering) and mentoring peers to raise the organization's AI literacy.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years in product management, with a proven track record of shipping successful software.

  • At least 2+ years of direct experience building and launching products with a core AI/ML component.

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience experimenting with and prototyping AI systems (comfortable working with models via APIs and building simple applications).

  • Deep understanding of the current AI landscape, including the capabilities and limitations of major LLMs.

  • Exceptional ability to operate in ambiguous environments, create structure from chaos, and make high-judgment decisions.

Preferred Experience:

  • Direct experience with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, or RAG architectures.

  • A technical background (e.g., Computer Science degree) or equivalent hands-on experience.

  • Experience working in a startup, innovation lab, or a similar fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
