As a Security Professional - Distribution Screener in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. By conducting routine patrols and remaining visible, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will interact with visitors and employees, manage access control, and utilize technology to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or packages as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to support the secure operation of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
