As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Screening in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. You will remain highly visible, interact with visitors and staff, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Screen individuals entering the premises as part of access control procedures, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site policy.
• Report and document any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and site management regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response efforts and follow established protocols in the event of an incident or evacuation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
