As a Security Guard - Armed Healthcare Facility in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. This armed position requires the appropriate guard card or license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and act as a visible presence to address any security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and/or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response protocols including lockdowns, evacuations, or medical emergencies as required by site-specific procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and logs in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances within the healthcare location.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other personnel to assist with security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License as required by law.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
