As a Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming atmosphere while supporting security-related protocols. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, assisting with badge control, responding to alarms, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Greet tenants, visitors, and guests in a professional and courteous manner while stationed at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations, following established procedures in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Assist with visitor management, including issuing badges and providing directions or information as requested.
• Communicate with property management, Allied Universal team members, and emergency responders as needed.
• Support security-related procedures and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activities within the premises.
• Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings while performing front desk responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
