Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol locations within the financial services environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will perform routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and offer outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, property damage, or potential hazards within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while on patrol.
• Document all activities, incidents, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
