As a Security Officer - Tech Site Screener in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for everyone onsite. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while assisting with access control. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
• Screen individuals entering the premises, verifying credentials and granting access only to authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures for the location.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to maintain a positive environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
