As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Bike Route in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report any incidents, observations, or issues according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders as directed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain a professional presence while interacting with visitors, staff, and/or the public at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
