Principal Software Engineer

Leads the architectural vision for complex, scalable systems and ensure technical alignment across teams.
• Sets the technical direction for projects, including architecture, technology choices and best practices (coding, testing, CI/CD and observability.
• Oversees execution and ensures the project milestones and quality standards are met.
• Serves as a subject-matter expert and hands-on mentor to senior and mid-level engineers.
• Partners with product, UX, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into clear technical specifications and deliver reliable, maintainable software solutions.
• Identifies opportunities for innovation in architecture, tooling, or process and drive adoption.
• Leads initiatives to optimize performance, reliability, and security at scale.
• Acts as an escalation point for critical production issues and guide resolution strategies.
• Provides guidance to less experienced Software Engineers.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• A minimum of 12 years of related experience
• 3 years of principal or staff-level engineering, is required or equivalent.

• Salary: $112,000- $152,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
