Security Professional - Tech Campus Patrol

As a Security Professional - Tech Campus Patrol in Newark, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for clients and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service through strong communication skills. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual conditions encountered during patrols throughout the location.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and location personnel regarding any incidents, issues, or emergencies.
• Assist with access control processes by monitoring entry and exit points as required by the site.
• Maintain thorough and accurate reports or logs of all activities, incidents, and observations while on duty.
• Support a positive environment for all personnel and visitors at the location through a professional and approachable presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
