As a Security Officer - Auto Lot Patrols in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will have the opportunity to help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere within an automotive industry location. Your key responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing excellent customer service to all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while on patrol.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and promoting a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist employees, visitors, and guests with questions and provide directions within the location as needed.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for any suspicious behavior in the auto industry environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
