Description

The Sales Operations Manager plays a key role in driving sales performance and sales operations excellence across both Global Accounts and Local Accounts. This role ensures sales processes, forecasting, analytics, and sales-specific operational frameworks are aligned, scalable, and tailored to meet the needs of a diverse, global sales organization.

The position is central to enabling the priorities outlined in the Global Sales Operations Strategy, particularly around "The Big Three", Pipeline Health & Forecasting, Enablement Analytics, and Lead-to-Order (L2O) Best Practices.

While not directly responsible for data management, technology systems, or pricing strategy, this individual will collaborate closely with the Data, Technology, and Pricing teams to translate sales operations requirements into effective and standardized solutions. The role also provides forecasting, analysis, and performance insights to support global and regional sales leaders in achieving plan and improving efficiency.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain sales forecasting, pipeline health, and performance tracking processes across global and local accounts.
  • Partner with leadership to support the Business Mix (The Big Three) initiative by ensuring visibility and alignment in forecasting and reporting.
  • Champion L2O best practices, driving consistency, documentation, and adoption of process improvements across the sales cycle.
  • Partner with the Data Team and build enablement analytics to align data-driven insights with frontline sales behaviors, adoption programs, and leadership reporting.
  • Support advanced analytics and predictive insight initiatives by defining business requirements and ensuring outcomes are actionable and relevant to sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the Data Team and Data Stewardship Team to ensure CRM/CPQ data integrity, consistency, and accessibility for operational reporting.
  • Work with the Technology Team to ensure sales tools and systems (e.g., CRM, CPQ, etc.) reflect global and local functional requirements and enhance user experience through iterative improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Team on process design, contract best practices, templates, geographic analysis, and standardization to improve pricing & sales execution consistency.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs such as Pipeline-to-Close Ratio, Opportunity Close Discipline, Account Coverage, and Performance to Plan, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and refine playbooks, process documentation, and sales operations standards that align with global priorities while accommodating regional customization.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Pricing, Data, Technology, and Sales Enablement to ensure clear ownership and smooth handoffs across teams.

Qualifications

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).


Experience



  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or related discipline.
  • Experience collaborating with Data and Technology teams to improve systems.
  • Proven ability to design and operationalize processes.
  • Experience supporting both global and local sales organizations.


Certifications

Optional: Salesforce, Lean Six Sigma, or related certifications preferred.

Scope and Impact

This role directly supports global and regional sales organizations in achieving operational excellence. The Sales Operations Manager enables alignment between strategy, process, enablement, and performance KPIs; including forecasting accuracy, process discipline, and business mix optimization. Success in this role will help drive measurable improvements in sales predictability, efficiency, and revenue performance.

Work Environment

This role is based in [location/remote] with flexibility to collaborate across multiple time zones. Requires up to 15% travel. Regular and predictable attendance required.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $122,000-$182,000, depending on experience.
