Software Quality Test Engineer

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to verify system functionality and ensure product quality.
• Debug and resolve issues in test scripts, automation frameworks, and related tools.
• Execute automation runs for JIRA items and coordinate testing efforts across multiple scrum teams.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test reports, procedures, and defect tracking.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and field support teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, product reviews, and bug triage meetings.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing to test methodology, data setup, and automation enhancements.
• Maintain compliance with all quality system and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of software testing experience (or 1+ year with a master's degree) in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with automation tools (Selenium, Squish).
• Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git or BitBucket.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred: experience with C++, Linux/Unix automation, and medical device testing.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
• Knowledge of ISO and FDA compliance for medical devices is a plus.
