You will work with our U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) customer and be rewarded with a technically challenging and diverse career in the areas of manned & unmanned ground vehicles, robotics, vehicle electronics, and ground vehicle simulation. In this position, you will serve as a simulation developer for GVSC Modelling and Simulation Directorate working within industry simulation tools such as Unreal Engine 5.

Essential Job Functions:

Software development / programming / testing (primarily, but not limited to, C++ and Python).

Develop features to support ground vehicle simulations in support of various programs across the Army

Support setup, development, and execution of simulation capabilities for Army programs.

Evaluate and integrate third party vendor software into simulation environment.

Work with contractor and other Government lab partners to develop simulation capabilities.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science, ideally with a concentration in simulation development in Unreal Engine.

At a minimum, a general knowledge of programming and game development in a commercial game engine.

Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

C++ /Python programming experience.

Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.

Experience with Software Version Control tools and process such as Git.

Desired Skills:

C/C++, Python, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality development experience
