The Credit Risk Manager- Commercial is primarily responsible for providing advice and counsel on proper loan structure and underwriting due diligence to Commercial Banking Managers and account officers in all markets. Another key responsibility is to review and approve loan requests within the position's established loan authority, and to lead the approval review process for requests that exceed this authority. Responsibility also includes the management and coaching of direct reports within the underwriting team on education, training, and qualitative performance deliverables. Team Culture

Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and 10+ years of commercial and/or private banking lending and underwriting in a centralized underwriting environment; 5+ years of loan approval experience in commercial lending; or 16+ years of equivalent work related experience. MBA in Finance or Accounting preferred, but not required when work experience mitigates such. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
