 A Brief Overview
 Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a per diem Office Hours Telephone Triage Nurse. The shift will be dependent upon the operational need. Preferred Primary Care, telephone triage and/or Barton Schmitt experience. Practices at the level of a competent to proficient practitioner of nursing. The nurse at this level demonstrates competence in telehealth nursing and in caring for patients with a wide variety of health issues in compliance with the department policies and procedures. This person utilizes critical thinking and evidence-based telephone triage protocols to provide safe nursing guidance to the general pediatric population. This per diem position reports to the Office Hours Nurse Triage Department Clinical Supervisor and Nurse Manager and includes a minimum number of worked hours per quarter.Minimum scheduled hours in Office Hours Program: 32 hours per 4-week schedule period. Weekend Requirement: 2 weekend shifts per 12-week schedule. There may be availability of additional hours to support After Hours Program depending on triage staffing needs of each program.

 Technical Diploma Nursing - RequiredBachelor's Degree Nursing - Preferred Experience Qualifications 
 At least two (2) years registered nursing experience - RequiredExperience in Pediatrics, telephone triage, use of Barton Schmitt telephone triage protocols - Preferred Licenses and Certifications

 SALARY RANGE:$15.00 - $507.00 Hourly Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs.
