JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary Provides clinical services consistent with established guidelines for best practice interventions, including evaluation and individual, group, family, or couple's psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children within the assigned service area. The Crisis Clinician delivers mobile, community-based crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises across a five-county service area. This is an experienced clinical role, not an entry-level position. The Crisis Clinician must meet Illinois Medicaid Mental Health Professional (MHP) requirements and possess a strong foundation of clinical skills to independently assess, intervene, and document high-acuity crisis situations. While clinical consultation is available 24/7, this position requires a high level of professionalism, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
