A Brief Overview
Responsible for performing carpet cleaning functions in homes, Community Offices and common areas as necessary.

What you will do



  • Perform carpet cleaning function in accordance with schedule issued by management. Complete work quickly and efficiently in order to meet project deadlines and to reduce home vacancy. Complete and submit all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for carrying and maintaining all cleaning supplies necessary to satisfactorily perform his/her routine functions.
  • Responsible for cleaning activities in common areas including Community Centers, office spaces and additional areas as identified by management. May be responsible for other common area cleaning including trash pick-up, doggie waste station and community trash removal.
  • Respond to and complete on-call after hour emergency and urgent repairs.
  • Maintain vehicle and vehicle inventory as prescribed. When required, update work order status including time, materials and notes on mobile devices provided in an accurate and timely manner.
  • This position requires driving for the Company using either 1) a Company vehicle, at any frequency from Rarely to Constantly; or, 2) a Personal or Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.


Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED Currently enrolled in High School Program Required

  • Must already have completed training on carpet cleaning equipment or have the ability to complete and pass training within 45 days of employment. Required
  • Decision Making - Decisions are based on specific instructions, standard practices and established procedures which generally require little or no supervision.
  • Problem Solving - Problems are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures and by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Independence of Action - Work is monitored by supervisor/manager. General instructions and procedures are provided.
  • Computer Literacy - Basic familiarity with computers. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
  • Written Communications - Read, and write in English in order to understand basic instructions and take direction from supervisors; communicate effectively with clients, visitors and other organization staff; and respond to basic questions.
  • Oral Communications - Understand spoken English in order to follow basic instructions and take direction from supervisors; communicate effectively in basic English with clients, visitors and organization staff in response to routine questions.
  • Knowledge - Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to use in routine situations. Specialized knowledge not required.
  • Team Work - Interact respectfully with other clients, visitors, organization staff and/or external contacts to offer ideas, identify issues, obtain information or deliver services.
  • Customer Service - Demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Flexibility/Adaptability - Work routine is fairly consistent, but employee needs to be able to use judgment to respond to events several times a week.
  • Equipment is bulky in nature, must be able to maneuver with bulky equipment.
  • Work needs to occur at an average pace with intermittent breaks. Requires an average amount of attention to maintain quality of work.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State Required
