The Dietary Utility Worker performs a wide variety of tasks such as maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen. This includes washing and sanitizing dishes, trays, utensils, pots, and pans according to facility procedures, as well as operating a commercial dishwasher. Dietary Utility Workers are also responsible for the timely delivery and retrieval of patient meal carts and trays to and from patient care units . This position supports the overall operation of the Dietary Department while adhering to all infection control food safety guidelines. Reports to the Director of Dietary and Assistant Director of Dietary.
