Overview

TRC is seeking a fulltime Senior Level Professional to join our Geo-Environmental and Construction Team. The position will be stationed in our Los Angeles, CA office. This position will provide construction coordination, observation, and documentation support for a wide variety of technically challenging projects primarily for industrial, utility, and transportation clients. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and personable individual with an eye for detail and a desire to be part of a growing and high performing team.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate construction-related services and projects.
  • Perform bid walks, develop construction specifications, coordinate subcontractor bids, develop proposals.
  • Provide construction quality assurance.
  • Oversee and manage staff and subcontractors implementing construction work.
  • Represent TRC with client, general contractors, contract manager, and regulatory agencies.
  • When not engaged in field projects, office responsibilities will include developing reports, performing financial review and budgeting, and other office support tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of construction or consulting and environmental or civil engineering experience with progressive responsibility.
  • Experience with developing budgets, schedules, and managing subcontractors.
  • Experience with construction activities associated with underground and aboveground fuel storage systems, associated compliance activities, and regulatory interactions.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, including client-facing interactions.
  • Excellent writing/verbal communication skills for interaction with multidisciplinary staff, clients, and regulatory agencies. Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Previous experience implementing and performing construction observation, documentation, quality control, and quality assurance. Landfill construction experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment for extended periods of time.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training certification preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, background check and motor vehicle records check.
  • Valid Driver's License

As a condition of employment, the candidate will need to pass a company physical exam (indicating that there will be no restrictions for field activities). Ability to travel throughout the United States is required for this position. A valid driving license (with no major violations) and the ability to pass a background check is also expected.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
