The Office of Research (OoR) Sponsored Research Services Grants & Contracts department (SRS G&C) is a central, non-financial post-award office responsible for the review, negotiation, and approval of grant and contract awards from government, industry, and non-profit sponsors. SRS G&C also issues outgoing sub-awards under externally funded UC agreements and provides some pre-award proposal submission support for colleges that do not have grants administration staff. SRS G&C department is hiring Sponsored Research Administrator 2 - Grants & Contracts (SRA2) position(s) that provide grant administration support to the greater UC research community. The SRA2 candidate is expected to be well versed in grant administration and should be able to make immediate contributions to the SRS G&C team with opportunities to grow and advance within the profession. The position(s) require an individual who will apply their current skills while learning new ones and who is comfortable with adapting in a field undergoing rapid changes. These position(s) offer a remote work option for approved employees. The planned start date is no sooner than Dec. 01, 2025. Essential Functions
