Summary:

In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives that advance Data & Digital strategic objectives. You will partner with executive sponsors and business leaders to translate strategy into execution-define the "how," coordinate across workstreams, and ensure alignment, communication, and accountability from start to finish. You will work within a healthcare technology environment and often support initiatives related to data analytics platforms, solution pilots, and Agile-inspired ways of working. You will use standardized Project Management Office (PMO) methodologies and Smartsheet as the system of record, to ensure projects deliver measurable outcomes and align with Vizient's business priorities and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leads and sponsors to translate strategic goals into executable project plans with clear scope, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams-assign ownership, track progress, and ensure consistent communication and collaboration across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain project artifacts including charters, stakeholder registers, communication and escalation plans, risk logs, and dashboards using PMO templates.
  • Manage project plans and dependencies in Smartsheet to ensure transparent reporting and timely status updates to leadership.
  • Facilitate meetings that drive decisions, remove roadblocks, and maintain stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply process improvement and change management practices to strengthen execution and sustain results.
  • Connect project progress and outcomes to Data & Digital OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and strategic initiatives to demonstrate measurable impact.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools to promote collaboration and consistency across Vizient.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5 or more years of experience managing enterprise-level or cross-functional business projects; experience in operational or strategic project management required.
  • Background working in a healthcare, data analytics, or technology-driven environment with familiarity in Agile or hybrid methodologies preferred.
  • Experience tracking and managing projects in a project management tool such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or similar platform highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio); Power BI experience a plus.
  • Experience connecting project outcomes to OKRs, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), or strategic performance goals highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to partner with business and technical stakeholders to define goals, drive execution, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills; ability to influence without authority and engage executive stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
