Position: Japanese Bilingual Supply Chain Coordinator Industry: Automotive Parts Location: Schaumburg, IL (on-site) Work hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm FLSA: Non-Exempt, Temp to Hire, Full-Time
Responsibilities: Manage and optimize the supply chain and delivery of goods from overseas to customers. Maintain and optimize inventory systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. Coordinate with shipping carriers and freight forwarders to optimize transportation and delivery schedules. Communicate with internal teams when lead times are not meeting requirements to prevent disruptions. Arrange and manage inventory shipments from the warehouse to the office. Lead inventory optimization efforts to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Participate in conference calls when issues cannot be resolved via email. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers. Provide support to the supply chain team during personnel shortages. Qualifications: Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English Intermediate level Excel skills for data management and analysis.
