Pay Rate: $25.50 *GENERAL DESCRIPTION:* Responsible for loading and unloading products from trucks, containers, or railcars trucks. Complete paperwork accurately in a timely manner. *MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:* * Check trailer and reefer temperature prior to loading (34-38 degrees). * Inspection of trailer for any pre-existing damages. * Inspection of product (random temperature checks) to ensure there is no damage to the product. * Verify case count and & product temperature as it is being loaded and/or staged on the dock. * Other duties as assigned. Required Skills *JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:* * English skills required, bilingual preferred. * Mathematical skills and logical thought process required. * Prioritize orders by appointments. * Must be able to maintain regular and acceptable attendance. * Follow directions, interact well with co-workers, * Understand and follow posted work rules/ procedures. * Must be flexible with the ability to work any shift as workload demands. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and 20 lbs overhead as job demands. Will have some exposure to fumes and airborne particles. Work is performed in a cool and loud environment with an average temperature of 34 degrees F. (ear protection required) WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: * Requires working Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and nights. * Night shift position (shift may vary) * Must be able travel to various work locations (Marina, Huron, Yuma) and relocate.
