- Responsible for identifying and documenting quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating company products' precision, accuracy, and reliability.
- Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
- Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on refining and optimizing business processes.
- Oversees testing department activities and the work of inspectors.
- Review, approve, and control work order flow tags.
- Develop inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods, and procedures.
- Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.
- Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.
- Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
- Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.
- Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering or Materials Science Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical assembly
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Electrical, ASQ certification
- Knowledge or experience with the Microsoft Tool Suite
- Experience in the development of manufacturing work instructions
- Knowledge or experience with ISO9001/AS9100
- Knowledge or experience with Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or a similar PLM tool
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
- Teamwork

- Ability to work independently
