Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Pembroke Pines, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Engineering Technician performs non-routine technical assignments and provides hands-on support to engineers in the design, testing, and maintenance of systems and equipment.
  • This position requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify issues, evaluate processes, and implement effective solutions.
  • The Engineering Technician works both independently and collaboratively to ensure the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of technical systems.
  • Perform non-routine technical assignments that support engineering projects and production operations.
  • Provide technical support to engineers and other team members, ensuring work meets established standards and project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and equipment.
  • Modify and maintain equipment and systems to improve performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement system or process modifications based on analytical findings and operational needs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results, repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training or mentoring junior technicians or new team members as needed.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $23.00 /hr

Hours: 40 hrs / Week

Length: Temporary (3 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with diagnostic tools, instrumentation, and testing procedures.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and quality assurance practices.
