This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with required polygraph.

Our team has an immediate need for an experienced Data Hunter/Librarian to join our team at a customer-site in Mclean, VA. to support the collection and management of tabular data sets available to the customer. This includes data discovery, clean up, ingestion, handling updates and cataloging usingcurrent metadata standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Search for data and supporting documentation that can be utilized in the customer's various applications.
  • Build partnerships across the customer's organization to determine which datasets should be collected, stored and made available.
  • Flush out metadata information to keep catalog system to ensure entries are accurate and up to date
  • Perform any needed data clean up, and that datasets are in the correct format for inclusion in customer's applications. Often times data will need to be converted into useable forms for further exploitation.
  • Monitor storage space allocations to inform customer when available space has reached specific thresholds.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active/current TS/SCI with required polygraph
  • Willingness to work onsite full time
  • US citizenship required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Strong experience working with tabular datasets
  • Experience with metadata cataloging systems
  • Strong writing and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with relational database design and SQL query workflows
  • Experience with data conversion using various tools and applications.
  • Previous All-Source analyst experience

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

* The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $113,000.00 - $188,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
