This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building and scaling high-performing teams, leveraging data to inform decisions, and operationalizing complex initiatives. You'll lead a team responsible for enablement platforms (LMS, CMS, and AI tooling), the sales programs function, and all enablement reporting and program management. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of sales enablement, a passion for technology, and a proven track record of operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role of the Director, Enablement Operations is broken down into five core business areas, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate understanding and experience across each of the areas:

Enablement Platforms & Technology

  • Lead the strategy and management of all enablement technology, including our Learning Management System (LMS), Content Management System (CMS), and emerging AI-enabled tooling.

  • Partner with IT and other cross-functional teams to ensure our technology stack is integrated, scalable, and provides a seamless user experience for our field teams.

  • Drive content rigor to ensure our content platforms stay up-to-date and accurately feed our homegrown AI Sales agents.

  • Stay ahead of the curve on new and innovative enablement technologies, especially in the AI space, and evaluate their potential to enhance our programs and drive efficiency.

Sales Programs

  • Direct the Sales Programs function to design, launch, and manage strategic initiatives that drive sales productivity, reinforce learning, and accelerate business outcomes.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership and other GTM teams to identify business needs and translate them into actionable, impactful sales programs.

  • Provide guidance and coaching to ensure that all Sales Programs initiatives produce highly impactful results and continue to support the business's requirements.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Establish and maintain a robust enablement reporting framework using the Kirkpatrick framework to measure the impact of all programs and initiatives.

  • Leverage Snowflake's own platform to build insightful dashboards and reports that provide a clear view of enablement's contribution to key business metrics.

  • Use data to inform decisions, identify areas for improvement, and communicate the ROI of enablement to senior leadership.

Program Management

  • Lead the program management function to ensure all enablement initiatives, from Sales Kickoff to major product launches, are executed with precision.

  • Develop and implement a standardized program management methodology to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across all projects.

  • Partner with enablement content and delivery teams to define project scope, set clear milestones, and manage timelines and resources.

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all program stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and proactively managing risks and dependencies.

Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of enablement operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Establish operational standards and best practices for the entire enablement organization, ensuring consistency in how programs are planned, executed, and measured.

  • Oversee the intake process for new enablement requests, working with business stakeholders to prioritize and align on strategic goals.

  • Develop and manage a capacity planning model to effectively allocate team resources and ensure the right talent is assigned to the most critical initiatives.

  • Instill a culture of operational rigor, including defining clear roles and responsibilities, establishing a RACI matrix, and creating standardized playbooks and templates.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 15+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven success in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing operations teams.

  • Expertise in managing and optimizing enablement platforms (LMS, CMS) and a strong understanding of how to leverage technology for scalable enablement.

  • Demonstrable experience in designing and executing impactful sales programs and initiatives.

  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to drive business decisions and measure program effectiveness.
