University of Missouri - Kansas City The UMKC School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) is comprised of ten academic departments and multiple interdisciplinary programs. This job reports to the Manager of Recruitment and Outreach for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Job Description
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing undergraduate freshmen recruitment activities for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences to meet enrollment goals and objectives, develop programs and initiatives to support the recruitment of undergraduate students to UMKC, and support the Office of Admissions and School of Humanities and Social Sciences in meeting their goals. This position will be responsible for promoting the School of Humanities and Social Sciences degree options in a positive and effective manner, representing the School to prospective students during their on-campus visit experience, and implementing recruitment efforts in collaboration with academic departments in the School. Typical office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This position requires availability for occasional evening and weekend work. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
$18.87 - $25.96 per hour commensurate on education, experience, and internal equity. Application Deadline
