POSITION SPECIFICS Investigators at Penn State Beaver and Penn State New Kensington are seeking applicants for part-time job of Research Assistant. The successful candidate will support research on domestic violence and substance use disorders. Job Duties Conducting comprehensive literature reviews based on specified analytical criteria. Summarizing, synthesizing, and identifying patterns across relevant studies. Assisting in the preparation and development of scholarly manuscripts. Performing additional research-related tasks as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, etc.). Excellent organizational and time management skills without micromanagement, the ability to work independently, and the ability to act ethically with research subjects and data. Fluent English language writing, speaking, and comprehension. Ability to collaborate with others in a positive and productive way. Must (a) pass and maintain CITI training status. (Preferred) Undergraduate degree in health sciences, public health, or related field. Schedule: 5 to 10 hours per week Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $15.00 per hour.
