Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Lead to drive key initiatives across consumer and commercial analytics functions. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently on supply chain analytics projects while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions and actionable insights.

Location & Schedule



  • Location: Beaverton, Oregon (World Headquarters)
  • Work Model: Hybrid 4:1 (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
  • Duration: Project-based through end of fiscal year, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs


Key Responsibilities


Analytics Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the accomplishment of key goals across consumer and commercial analytics functions
  • Design and build innovative data and analytics solutions to support critical business decisions
  • Work independently to identify, explore, and solve complex business problems
  • Support end-to-end analysis to advise product strategy, data architecture, and reporting decisions


Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand requirements and develop sustainable data solutions
  • Translate complex technical functionality into business-relevant language
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to investigate data anomalies and business impacts
  • Document and communicate systems and analytics changes effectively to business users


Data Analysis & Insights

  • Validate key performance indicators and build queries to measure business performance quantitatively
  • Use data to predict trends and perform statistical analysis
  • Leverage data mining techniques to extract information and identify correlations and patterns
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on comprehensive data analysis


Technical Development & Implementation

  • Develop SQL queries and data visualizations for ad-hoc analysis and ongoing reporting needs
  • Build and deliver scalable data and analytics solutions
  • Organize and transform information into comprehensible structures
  • Monitor data quality and implement data cleansing processes


Process Improvement & Governance

  • Develop data governance standards from data ingestion through product dictionaries and documentation
  • Improve existing processes through automation and efficient workflows
  • Evaluate and utilize new technologies, tools, and frameworks for high-volume data processing
  • Support standard methodologies in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, unit testing, quality control, and validation


Required Qualifications


Technical Skills

  • Must-have: Demonstrated experience with PowerBI, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot
  • Must-have: Proficiency in SQL and standard query syntax
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard development
  • Strong understanding of data governance and quality control practices


Experience & Education

Education: Bachelor's Degree required

Experience: Minimum 10 years of directly relevant experience, including comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert

Alternative qualifications accepted:



  • PhD or Law Degree + 8 years of experience
  • Master's Degree + 9 years of experience
  • Associate's Degree + 11 years of experience
  • High School Diploma + 12 years of experience


Core Competencies

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to take initiative
  • Experience working in supply chain analytics environments
  • Previous experience with locally know footwear retail company is strongly preferred

  • Track record of delivering analytics solutions in the supply chain domain
  • Proven ability to quickly integrate into new projects and teams
  • Experience working autonomously on complex analytical initiatives


Project Details

This is a project-based role focused on supply chain analytics, where you will work primarily independently while collaborating with stakeholders as needed. The initial project timeline extends through the end of the fiscal year, with potential opportunities for additional projects for the right candidate.
