Job Location Duke University Hospital Job Summary This position will provide direct patient care services and perform medical procedures under the supervision of a supervisory physician to patients (birth through 21 of age) in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in the Duke University Health System (DUHS). This position will perform physical exams, collect and documents data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations, prescribe appropriate interventions and medications, and provide direct patient care services. Certification ABP board eligible recent or pending graduates may also apply) BLS, PALS mandatory before hire Experience Candidates early in their career or finishing their Pediatric or Med-Peds residency and interested in gaining additional experience in Pediatric Cardiology and/or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine are encouraged to apply. Job Hours Position includes 11 x 12-hour shifts per month from 7p-7a. Shifts will include weeknight and weekend night shifts.
