We're seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our E-Commerce organization in Austin, TX, to lead our automated micro-fulfillment operations across pilot stores. This role sits at the intersection of technology and operations, driving key performance metrics and programmatic improvements to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You'll partner closely with supply chain, store operations teams, product and technology, finance, and store design to optimize workflows while playing an instrumental role in scaling our micro-fulfillment initiatives and launching large-scale grocery automation pilots.The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset and exceptional program management capabilities to navigate complex, large multi-stakeholder initiatives across the Whole Foods Market and Amazon. Success in this role requires a track record of proactive stakeholder management, ability to learn and operate independently, identify opportunities for innovation, agile problem solver, and deliver end-to-end project solutions that drive business impact. You'll also serve as a thought leader in the online grocery space, monitoring industry trends and driving the evolution of grocery e-commerce across our organization.This role will be based in Austin, TX with an expectation of being in the office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Drives and owns critical operational metrics, delivering insights leadership and key stakeholders
- Launches micro-fulfilment operational in new locations, ensuring a successful ramp
- Creates and maintains operational documentation, including SOPs and team communication
- Resolves complex operational challenges and implement systematic improvements
- Supports department goals, identifies synergies, and suggests process and communication improvements to help our cross-functional team work more efficiently.
- Identifies potential risks or roadblocks and works with stakeholders to manage gaps, identify solutions, implement changes and document processes as required.
- Effectively documents information across workstreams, stakeholder teams, and scopes.
- Builds constructive business relationships with all stakeholders, including Amazon partners.
- Leads execution of programs, including managing timelines, managing budget, program status communication
- Ensures / develops weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for Ecommerce programs.
- Identifies reporting requirements and ensures access to program-related data
Skills:

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of program management experience, preferably (but not required) in retail or the food or packaged goods industry.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
- Experience in retail operations is strongly preferred.
- Ability to understand and support project scope, goals, deliverables, establish RACI, and proactively create net new documentation as needed.
- Proven collaborative spirit and relationship builder with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Desire and ability to be a team player who appreciates a unique, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment.

The wage range for this position is $89,407.00-$151,992.00 Annual, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
